Belleayre Mountain & Highmount is at the highest point in on our Route 28. It boast the Belleayre Mountain Ski Center, the largest ski area on Route 28. ski lift and slope

Highmount is the name of the hamlet and post office, but techincally, like most of the hamlets east of here, it is in the Town of Shandaken.
