Arkville is an interesting hamlet. It has a railroad theme and there is a scenic tourist railway operational stop there. Arkville is a hamlet in the town of Middletown, in Delaware County. It is located along Route 28 a mile north of the village of Margaretville in the western Catskill Mountains. Arkville is built near the site of an old Lenape village called Pakatagkan.
